Need something adjusted?
Everyone should be able to use this site and work with Atko Fishing. No form, no proof required. You will hear back within two business days.
What this site is built to
This site is designed, built, and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. It was last tested on September 11, 2026 in two browser engines (Chromium and WebKit) on desktop and mobile screen sizes, with automated checks on every page and keyboard-only navigation. Testing is repeated on a schedule and after content changes, and the date above is updated each time.
What that means in practice
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
- Pages use semantic headings, landmarks, and labels so screen readers can announce structure and controls, including the cart and product options.
- Text and its background meet the WCAG contrast minimums, and the site stays usable at 200 percent zoom.
- Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text.
- Forms have visible labels and clear error messages, and never ask you to re-enter information you already gave.
- Motion is limited, and it stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
Tools built into this site
The accessibility button at the right edge of every page opens a panel where you can adjust the site to suit you. Your choices are remembered on your device. It offers:
- Six one-click profiles: dyslexia friendly, ADHD focus, seizure safe, vision impaired, cognitive, and color blind.
- Text size, spacing, font, contrast, and saturation adjustments.
- A reading guide, a reading mask, highlighted links and titles, a big cursor, a pause for motion, and an option to hide images.
These tools sit on top of a site built to the guidelines. They work alongside, and never replace, screen readers and your browser's own zoom and accessibility settings.
Ongoing work and known limits
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a box checked once. New content is checked before it is published, and the whole site is re-tested on a schedule. Some content comes from third parties, such as embedded YouTube videos in a few blog posts and the Shopify checkout that completes your order, and those are outside our direct control. If one of them gets in your way, tell us and we will find another way to get you what you need.
