He texted me “The new sauce without a doubt worked. Not a single bite on live goldfish or perch. Had one pole out with cut carp without the sauce and had one hit but didn’t take. We had 3 poles out with cut carp soaked in the sauce and caught 7 channels and 1 big bullhead.  The biggest channel cat was 8.9lbs” 

One of my favorite experiences while testing involved my college age son. We were down in Mexico Beach, FL on Independence Day. We watched fireworks from the beach and then when the crowd dispersed we got out our fishing gear. 

Now we’ve fished the beach together many times over the last 8 years, And this time our approach  wasn’t much different. We used a double hook pompano rig with fishbites or sandfleas for bait, but  this time soaked them in Slay Sauce. Well my son Fisher, being a 21 year old, was a little skeptical of ol’ dad’s Slay Sauce creation.

I have personally caught a pile of channel cats and blue cats on sauce as well. In fact in my first test  for viability of the sauce I took it out with just a piece of sponge soaked in our first experimental ver sion. I caught several 3lb channel cats at a local lake. No bait necessary! That being said, since  I’m the creator I want to let others speak for the sauce, not me.

They have been using it on halibut, cod and rockfish. Jim has experimented with all types of scents and attractants over the years. When I asked him what he thought I of the Slay Sauce, he said “Its good sh*t!!!”
